Eateries in Providence and East Greenwich to Offer Menu Specials

Red Stripe restaurants, located at 465 Angell Street in Providence and 455 Main Street in East Greenwich, will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a selection of special dishes in addition to its full menu from Friday, February 14th through Sunday, February 16th.  For reservations, please call please call 401.437.6950 (Providence) or 401.398.2900 (East Greenwich). 

In addition to Red Stripe’s full menu, including classic starters of Deviled Eggs with truffle, bacon and chives; Classic Calamari with hot peppers, cherry tomatoes and marinara; Crispy Brussels Sprouts served with shaved parmesan, garlic confit and aioli; Crab Cakes with mesclun lettuce, tartar sauce and lemon and Crispy Artichokes with shaved parmesan, garlic confit and aioli, guests may also enjoy special additions including Colossal Shrimp Cocktail with lemon and house-made cocktail sauce or Bacon-wrapped Scallops served in a beurre-blanc sauce. 

Featured weekend entrees are Surf and Turf with a 7 oz. filet with two baked-stuffed shrimp and a choice of side; Lobster Ravioli served in a saffron-cream sauce; and a 16 oz. or 24 oz. Prime Rib with choice of side. Red Stripe will also be serving its complete lunch and dinner menu including favorites like six varieties of Moules & Frites; Braised Short Rib with green beans, lardons, demi-glace and red-bliss mashed potatoes; 20 oz. Bone-in Ribeye with horseradish sauce and choice of side; Atlantic Salmon with glazed carrots, roasted rainbow fingerling potatoes, maple glaze, and walnuts; Red Stripe Paella with shrimp, mussels, clams, fish, chicken, chorizo, carrots, and saffron rice; Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops with butternut squash risotto, lardons, and maple-butter sauce; Chicken Parmesan served on a mountain of linguine with house-made marinara, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese; and Linguine & Clams featuring whole & chopped clams, shallots, garlic, and a white-wine butter sauce.

The special Valentine’s Day dessert, “Be Mine,” features a warm chocolate cake with raspberries and raspberry sauce.
